To determine the method by which the water boils.
Required Equipment And Material:
- Beaker
- Water
- Burner
- Thermometer
Experiment Procedure And Steps:
- Use a beaker of water, put it on the burner.
- Write the interpretations of thermometer for every 2 minutes.
- You will see that the warmth of the water rises continuously until it reaches 100°C. Exceeding 100°C no additional rise of temperature of the water is observed.

What Was Learnt:
At 100 degrees C, though the amount of heat proceeds, the warmth does not stretch further. We also examine a lot of bubbling at the surface of the water at 100 degrees C. This is what we call boiling of water. 100 degree is the boiling point of water.
